Thanks for checking in... I am often surprised that friends and family DO in fact check out this blog to see what we're up to. Well, I think it's become a lot about what SOL is up to... la Abuela en Costa Rica, the Grandma in Connecticut... they want to know and SEE what's going on with the little Googerif. Hope you enjoy it! And I hope this finds you well!

Chile Lindo! Argentina Rica!
For those of you who may not know, we are now south of the equator in Chile! We took our time getting from Santiago to Futa... 2 days in Santiago, 2 days in Puerto Varas, 2 days in Bariloche... all which made Sol's journey RELATIVELY pain-free. He has been a trooper - loves checking out all the new people, places... the hotel pools! Here are a few photos from the first leg of our journey... Sol on the plane in his "nest". He hardly spent anytime in his seat, but when he did - he looked like a little bird. Alex and Sol shopping for baby sunglasses in Santiago. Sol and me on the lakes crossing bus during on of his naps... Alex fishing at the mouth of Rio Blanco and Lago Peulla on the Chile/Arg border.... Alex with the MOST amazing catch of his life (other than ME of course - ha)... the biggest brown trout - he is still in awe of this fish. Sol and me on the lakes crossing again with Volcan Osorno in the background. BEAUTIFUL! We are having a great time... and are now comfortably situated at our friend's cabin in Futa. Alex is working on the land, Sol is sleeping and I am updating you on our world. Drop a line and tell me about yours! Wishing you the best... lots of love... Liz
