Sol is 6 MONTHS!

Hello friends and family...

Happy January! Sol is now 6 months old.  It's truly mind-boggling how the time flies. It feels like 6 weeks or an eternity.  He is doing GREAT!  He starts each day with a smile and ends his day with "Espa"... his bath/bed time routine which I am envious of... mellow music, candles - we know it's  a bit ridiculous, but he LOVES it and it has helped us help him really know when bed time is... so, we love it too.  He becomes a big sleepy sweet smelling lump and goes off into dreamland. And then of course he wakes up screaming 3 hours later... but hey. He's a baby.

The holidays were great! Both Christmas and New Year's were quiet and lovely. We got to spend Christmas Eve with some dear old friends (the Greene's) and that was a special, unexpected treat.  New Year's Eve was spent at the house with Sol cooing and laughing from his crib from 11:45pm-12:15am.  VERY bizarre. He wasn't upset - he just was having a little celebration in his bed. Cute, huh?

Alex is on his way to Chile for a couple of weeks next week and I am here in CT recuperating my pinched back and broken foot and continuing to give Sol's sleeping habits some foundation .  So, THAT is all great!  The plans for the house in Maine are in the works! We are working with an architect whose work we admire and plan to start building in June!  SO exciting... and between now and then, who knows? A possible trip to Bozeman, maybe a stint in Costa Rica, possible visit to Bariloche.  No sabemos todavia... vamos a ver!

I hope this finds you and yours happy and healthy!

Lots of love,
Liz
