Sol at 12 weeks!

Well, Sol is now 12 weeks old and the changes come daily.  He rolled over today from his back to belly today! He was doing the bridge pose and gravity took over and rolled him! He looked so shocked.  He is also talking up a storm!  OK,  squealing, babbling, gooing, giggling and cooing - up a storm.  We are learning a lot about him each day - I imagine he is too - and we can understand his needs and wants A LOT more easily now! What they said is true!  They do get more predictable and life starts to even out a bit. It is still NUTS, but much more manageable. I still do not understand how my friends with 3, 4 and 5 kids do it!  Amazing...

Anyway, all is well!  We are finishing up the good work in Maine in the coming weeks and planning our trip down south. First to Costa Rica to visit family and then on to Chile for our season down there.  VERY excited for all of it.  The only part I am not looking forward to is not seeing Rolando this year...  having the reality of his death made more clear when we are there and he is not... seeing Nellie's sadness... it just makes my heart sink. I hope we can provide some support and light to Nellie and Ximena... He was such a wonderful and sweet man... we will miss him dearly and I am so sad that Sol wasn't able to meet him.

I hope this finds you well wherever you are...
